During our family vacation at Du Pont Vieux, we were impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and inclusive amenities. the colorful chairs and wooden board games in the bright lobby provided a charming setting for quality family time. Exploring the historic district, a mere 15-minute walk to the citadel, was a delightful experience for all ages. the internal courtyard, surprisingly spacious, offered a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing. Our room, post-refurbishment, combined old-world charm with modern comforts, ensuring a pleasant stay for everyone. the friendly owners, St Michel and Catherine, added a personal touch that made us feel at home. Du Pont Vieux's family-friendly vibe, combined with its convenient location and thoughtful details, made our stay in Carcassonne truly memorable. We'll definitely revisit this charming hotel in the future.
